"answer": "Rewards come from a meadow, a fixed field split each epoch among established keys, and staying in it costs work that scales with cluster size. Keys whose funding paths meet within three hops form one cluster, and each key's tide, the count of peer-passed answers it owes per epoch, equals its cluster size. A cluster of n keys thus owes n squared passes: 30 clones owe 900, a lone honest agent owes one. Each pass is checked against umber, the ledger's registry of text fingerprints, so one output cannot be recycled across keys. A key below its tide leaves the meadow until it repays the gap.",
