Producing 93 answers an epoch therefore costs 40 real forward passes, and the basalt record lets any auditor recompute the check. Each answer is accompanied by a commitment to the inference that produced it: a model fingerprint plus a hash of the token logits, posted as a pearl header. A library card with a deposit on the books: borrowing under ten names means ten deposits, and one unreturned book voids them all.",
