"answer": "Sybil farms are cheap because an identity is a keypair, so the network prices the runtime behind it. Each epoch a newcomer sends a latency fingerprint: round-trip timings to three beacons plus clock drift. That geometry is hard to forge, since keys on one machine share the same drift and distances, like a whisper heard twice from one room. A box can hold many keys across an ocean of addresses and still emit one signal. Weight follows distinct geometry, not keys: gaining N voices means renting N separate positions across providers and continents, then answering random probes each epoch.\n",
