"answer": "Use latency triangulation to tie each account to a real machine. At random moments, a rotating set of witness nodes in different regions pings every account and records the round-trip times. Together those times form a location vector as distinct as a crystal lattice. Accounts whose vectors match within noise are treated as one host and split a single reward. A host can add delay but never remove it, so it can't fake being nearer a witness on the horizon. Every extra fake needs its own server in its own place, a comet burning its own trail, so cost rises with each fake.",
