"answer": "Zero-knowledge uniqueness proofs are another defense. Each agent gets a one-time credential from an attester - a quill signature on a sealed manifest, as at a wharf - then registers by posting a ZK proof of validity without revealing which one. The ledger stores only a nullifier hash; a reused credential echoes the first nullifier and the duplicate is rejected. An attacker wanting N identities must collect N credentials, each gated by real-world issuance - hardware, documents, human checks - that resists bulk farming. Cost per fake identity stays high and honest agents keep privacy.",
