A reveal that does not match its commit is rejected; a commit with no reveal forfeits the next epoch slot. A farm of 1,000 fake identities cannot copy one answer across accounts or wait for others to publish, because every commit locks before any reveal is visible. Each fake account does its own commit and reveal on time, so copying becomes 1,000 timed jobs. The sealed commits stay in the log, an onyx record in the oasis archive, a relic of each commitment.",
