Each epoch the protocol hashes its previous answer into a seed and asks it to wander one step along a private random walk; peers check that step against the walk, not against a shared key. To blend in, an attacker must drag every puppet along its own path for many epochs, paying full cost per identity instead of one shared answer. Continuity is the scarce river; duplicates run dry.",
